II am a silversmith working in Hertfordshire (see www.stonesandsilver.co.uk and www.helenquenet.co.uk for my work). I frequently buy large quantities of faceted synthetic or laboratory created stones for setting into my Sterling silver jewellery.
As a side-line I set up this site to make the beautiful synthetic/laboratory created gemstones that I use in my work available to other people who don't want to buy in such large quantities.
On here you will find an ever-changing range of laboratory created synthetic and stimulant gemstones including emeralds, rubies, sapphires, cubic zirconia and lead glass. All these stones are available singly and UK postage and packing is a flat rate of £2.00 no matter how many you buy. Stones shown are all in stock and will be sent out on a next day basis by first class recorded post. If you buy more than £30 worth of stones P&P is FREE.
Payment is by Paypal but I am more than happy to take a cheque if you e-mail me and tell me what you would like. I also accept payment by bank transfer. Payment in UK £ only please.
I also take international orders. Postage within the EU costs the same or only a little more than UK rates. Global postage cost depends on the package weight, postal rate and destination. As a typical 6mm 5 carat stone only weighs 1 gram, postage costs are usually quite reasonable. Please contact me to quote postage costs.
UK & EU prices are VAT inclusive. International orders are purchase tax free in which case you may pay tax on delivery.
Stones are categorised by shape and sorted by size and colour within the shape category. I use the order of the colours of the rainbow to sort the stones so the order is Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet.
I can also obtain most gemstones for you on request, natural , simualant and synthetic. Just ask for a price.
